Born 1950 in Leiden. The artist Hans Dolieslager has occupied himself for many years with the landscape around his place of living Goedereede. Nature reserve "De Kwade Hoek" (the evil place) and the polders with their vast fields and rows of trees are the source of his paintings, pastels and graphic art. Not so much the direct identification of certain spots are of interest to him, as especially the atmosphere, the rhythm and the changing-of-color in the landscape are subject of his work.
